Can Chemo Be Easier?
We think so! Doctors all over the world in many different specialties use blood tests to measure the amount of drugs in patients’ blood. If a patient has too little drug, the doctor increases the dose, and if the patient has too much drug, the doctor decreases the dose. We think that oncologists need to measure cancer drugs to improve the care of cancer patients. We know from many studies that patients can have too much cancer drug in their body leading to unnecessary side-effects, or they can have too little drug to kill the cancer.
We develop blood tests that measure the amount of cancer drugs in patients’ blood, so that the doctor can adjust the drug dose to increase the chances of survival, or to lower side-effects.
