The Saladax MyCare technology enables easily automated, rapid, robust and cost-effective in vitro diagnostic tests for the practical delivery of personalized medicine. The Company's current portfolio of fifteen assays represents a novel application of a proven and well-established nanoparticle-based immunoassay technology that provides high level performance in functional sensitivity (i.e. assay performance that yields accurate results when used with real clinical specimens). Its quality performance is well-documented and the technology is widely published. Nanoparticle-based immunoassays provide great operational flexibility since they are capable of being performed on most general routine laboratory blood analyzers, enabling easy and widespread commercial availability without high capital expense.
